What do you all think of Paula giving a critique on Jason's second song before he sang it?? Do you think the judges' responses are scripted and aren't really spontaneous? Or do you think maybe the judges hear their rehersals? Or is Paula losing it?

The Bible says that God puts His treasures in common containers (earthen vessels, jars of clay) and that even if we're not anything special, we can still be used for special purposes (2 Corinthians 4:7 and 2 Timothy 2:20-21). You can see by my LJ name what I think of my container, which is why I really like those verses. I don't care if I ever do anything "special," but I believe everyone has a purpose, and I haven't quite figured out mine yet.

But that's okay. I think God's guidance is more like a pair of headlights on a dark road than Mapquest. And knowing the end of the story would spoil the reading, anyway. ☺
